About Us

We saw a gap in our community. A gap in support, resources, and connection for individuals affected by gender-based violence (GBV). We saw survivors struggling to find safe and accessible help, and we knew we had to act.
Recent Statistics

GBV remains a pervasive issue in South Africa: - 1 in 5 women in South Africa have experienced physical violence (Statistics South Africa, 2020) - 41% of women in South Africa have experienced emotional abuse (South African Police Service, 2020) - 1 in 3 girls in South Africa will experience sexual violence before the age of 18 (UNICEF, 2020)

Impact on Society

GBV has devastating consequences on individuals, families, and communities. It perpetuates cycles of violence, stigma, and fear. We believe that everyone deserves to live a life free from violence and thrive in a culture of respect and inclusivity.
